3. Maintain a comfortable and loose fit, without exerting any tension on the tape or string.

4. If using a string, make a mark where it overlaps, then measure the length using a tape measure.

5. Repeat the measurement multiple times for accuracy.

6. Round the measurement to the nearest centimeter.

7. When in doubt or if you're between sizes, it's advisable to opt for the larger size.

Returns + Exchanges:

We want to ensure that you absolutely love your hat. However, due to the customized nature of our hats, we are unable to accept returns.

If, for any reason, your hat doesn't fit perfectly, please reach out to us. We offer hat size adjustments, but please note that a fee will be charged to cover the labor involved or the purchase of a new hat for you to switch out. Adjustments can take approximately 2-3 months due to the complexity of the process. Therefore, it is crucial to carefully select the correct size when making your purchase.

Caring for your hat:

Each hat we offer is a vintage piece sourced from various locations in Colorado and Wyoming, carrying a unique character that has developed over its lifetime before reaching you. This character may include normal wear and tear, which adds to its charm. We kindly ask you to treat your hat with care.

When not wearing your hat and if you don't have a hat rack available, it's best to lay it on a flat surface to maintain its shape.

Avoid leaving your hat in hot environments, such as inside a vehicle or anywhere without controlled climate. Excessive heat can cause the sweatband to shrink.

While your hat can handle a bit of water, it's recommended to keep it as dry as possible. In case your hat gets wet, follow one of these two methods to dry it:

1. Fold the sweatband down and place the hat on the flipped-down sweatband in a safe location to air-dry.

2. If possible, continue wearing the hat until it dries completely. This method is preferred as it helps the hat conform perfectly to your head shape.

Under no circumstances should you attempt to speed up the drying process using a hairdryer or any other device.

To maintain the cleanliness of your hat, use a hat brush to remove loose dirt. If necessary, you can clean off dirt with a damp cloth. Additionally, a lint brush or a piece of tape can be used to remove fuzz, hair, and lint from your hat.

When adjusting your hat, try to avoid grasping it by the crown if you wish to preserve its shape. Instead, remove and adjust your hat by holding onto the brim close to the crown.

To allow perspiration and oil to evaporate from the sweatband, periodically flip it down and set the hat in a safe place. This practice helps prevent them from seeping into the hat material.
